Concealed Carry/Home Defense (CCHDF)
Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey. This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety and nomenclature and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
There are a variety of courses available to meet your goals. All classes included virtual (online) classroom segment with firing range proficiency segment scheduled at your choice of indoor or outdoor range.
All range segments include access to a variety of firearms to explore which might be best for you.
Defensive Firearm Training
--- Beginner's Level: Our defensive firearm instruction and CCW license course is thoughtfully designed for beginners and those who have never handled a firearm. We guide students step-by-step through the fundamentals of firearm safety, handling, and responsible use to build a solid working knowledge and lasting confidence.
--- Intermediate Level: Our intermediate defensive firearm training course is ideal for those who already have basic experience and are ready to refine their skills with greater precision and control.
--- Senior Citizens Course (+65 Reserved). In-person Concealed Carry/Home Defense Course Curriculum for Senior Citizens.
The +65 Reserved Course is designed to provide seniors aged 65 and older with the knowledge, skills and confidence to responsibly carry a concealed firearm. The curriculum focuses on firearm safety, situational awareness, legal considerations and practical self-defense tailored to the unique needs of older adults.
